Wedding Planner Assistant Position
Awespiring Weddings and Design is currently recruiting an assistant planner for the upcoming wedding season. This is a great position for someone who is serious about wedding planning and looking for growth and development.
*This position is a part-time contract position to start.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
-Attending scheduled consultations with clients
-Responding to existing clients in a timely manner
-Attending network/social events as part of the Awespiring Weddings team
-Assisting with bridal shows
-Setting up and tearing down décor as needed
-Be willing to work a flexible schedule
-Have the ability to make professional decisions and perform under pressure.
-Have professional appearance and demeanor
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Be able to work independently and maintain a positive attitude especially in stressful situations.
-Have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize a variety of tasks
-Be a creative thinker
-Have an acute sense of detail
-Have advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.
-Have some wedding planning experience.
Please note: This is a long-term position for someone who is willing to commit to being part of the Awespiring Weddings team. Priority will be given to candidates that do not own their own wedding planning company.
